AR Indoor navigation demo
Back in 2018, We fused beacons (hardware) along with persistent augmented reality technologies to generate maps, indexing them by GPS coordinates and beacon ids and Relocalise by matching point clouds from spatial map with points cloud from users enviroment.
By filtering by GPS and beacon we can generate multiple versions of high quality spatial maps and pick relevant map for users current location. So we were able to increase relocalization speed at the same time improving performance as well.
In this demo AR character (Plane) will guide from source to destination.
In final project there were additional UX to guide user to relocalize his position in map if users IMU got drifted
